Simple Home Remedies to avoid Cold and Flu-




 When our body does not adjust according to the weather, then we become victims of seasonal diseases.  The cold starts from the nose but gradually its effect starts on the whole body.  There is no cure for a cold.  Home remedies are more useful in this self-reducing disease.  Here we are telling some home remedies to avoid this...

 1.Whenever you have a sore throat and your nose is blocked in winter, gargle with a pinch of salt in a glass of warm water.  It will clear your throat and it prevents the virus from entering your body again.
 Consuming ginger with honey in the morning and evening also gives quick relief in cold.


 2 Steam inhaled from an accurate vaporizer will provide relief from stuffy nose and mucus.  If you don't have an accurate inhaler, you can also inhale steam by adding hot water to a kettle.

 If turmeric is mixed with warm milk, it removes phlegm and also provides great relief in cold.

 A cup of hot tea with ginger, basil, mint and black pepper is an effective home remedy to get relief from cold.


 Make a paste by grinding raisins with water.  Boil sugar in it and leave it to cool.  Taking it every night before sleeping gives relief in cold.

 Turmeric is very beneficial in the treatment of cold.  To stop a runny nose, burn turmeric and inhale its smoke, this will intensify the flow of water from the nose and will provide immediate relief.

 5.Drink rasam, a South Indian soup made with tamarind and black pepper, hot, as it helps to flush out unnecessary toxins from your body.  It is very beneficial in cold.

 6. If the nose is blocked, then take equal quantity of cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom and cumin seeds and tie them in a cotton cloth and smell them again and again, which will cause sneezing and the blocked nose will also open.

 7. Consumption of garlic soup prepared by boiling garlic buds provides quick relief in cold.

 Tulsa is very effective in cold and flu.  If you want, eat after chewing basil leaves or make a decoction after boiling it in water and drink it, both ways are beneficial.

 Make a decoction by boiling 10 grams wheat bran, five cloves and some salt and mixing it in water.  Drinking a cup of decoction twice a day provides benefits.

 8.Vitamin C is very beneficial in the treatment of cold.  Drink a glass of warm water mixed with lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey.  Vitamin C present in abundance in this increases the immunity in our body.

 Due to the hotness of winter, it is considered very beneficial for winters.  Boil dates with milk and drink it, it provides great relief in cold.

 9. Washing hands frequently is the best way to avoid cold.  It kills the viruses that come in the hands by touching the infected objects.

 10. If someone in your family has a cold, do not use each other's utensils, if possible, use disposable utensils only.
